June 1991, I was sharing a house 🏡 on Golf Links Road in Oakland, CA. As a White “Hillbillly’ (what the natives called us). if you went home by the freeway, it was a stunningly beautiful experience. The hills were thick with fragrant eucalyptus trees and deer 🦌.
