It was origionally a Woolco Department Store as anchor not Bradlee's. Woolco was an American-based discount retail chain. It was founded in 1962 in Columbus, Ohio, by the F. W. Woolworth Company. When the mall opened in 1971 Woolworth's in the center of hatboro closed and soon became M&C Sporting Goods. The Bradlee's went out of business in 2001 and was replaced by a WalMart for a short time then became Speed Raceway and now is K1 Speed

The mall opened in 1972. I had a job in the Morse shoe store before graduating from college.

I remember that mall, it was super small and very dark. Dark brown carpeting everywhere and benches around the planters in the center. I remember the RC car track was pretty decent sized and I for sure remember Kinney shoe. I actually miss that little indoor mall!

It's mostly dead though there is this amazing store still there called "American Groove'. The man that owns and runs it is very nice and there is always cool stuff in it. I was there for the JCP shut down. I got 300 dollars worth of clothes for about 15 dollars. There's some kind of "factory direct" type store still there. Sometimes the deals are good but sometimes you get what you pay for. The theater, Bath and Body works, Glick's, a nail salon, some kind of boat store, and some kind of jewelry store still remain as of 1/10/19. The bathrooms there are a mess. One can tell many babies have been concieved there. I love the mall with all my heart (I have an obsession with dead and dying malls). The bathrooms make the mall trashy.

When the Pick N Save came in originally, you picked up a black crayon at the entrance and marked the prices on the cans!

The mall restaurant, Roman Delight, also seems to have moved to nearby Warminster. As of this posting they're still open.
